Any mother can tell you that her work is never done, at least for as long as she is a mother. Chicken Soup for the Working Mom's Soul , the latest in the Chicken Soup for the Soul books, has captured that sentiment and the many "Mommy" moments that make the mothering experience so special.

Dorothy Fletcher was honored to have one of her pieces published in
Chicken Soup for the Working Mom's Souls collection. Her "Dandelions and My Little Samantha" is an essay about a summer Dorothy shared with her granddaughter that reminded her of all the days she may have missed with her own children because she had to work instead of be a stay-at-home mom. In the end, however, Dorothy realizes that simple, shared activities with little ones are truly the best and the memories that stay with children long after they leave the nest.
Alyssa Zamora of WJCT Stereo 90 interviewed Dorothy and Samantha on November 6 , 2007 about the essay and what it means to be part of a little person's life. Listen to a podcast of that interview at wjct website
