May 5, 2011 - Dorothy Fletcher, along with 16 other recipients, won a 2011 Preservation Award given by the Jacksonville Historic Preservation Commission. Honorees were guests at a reception held at MOCA, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Jacksonville, and awards were presented at a ceremony held in the Main Library located downtown. May 21, 2011 - Dorothy will be part of the Annual MOSH Museum Hop. She will be sharing a story from her book Remembering Jacksonville: By the Wayside to the children who attend this free citywide event at 10:30 in the Pre-K Room of the museum.
