March 29, 2008  -  Dorothy will be presenting a workshop at the POW (Promoting Outstanding Writers) Nuts and Bolts Session at the Mandarin Ramada Inn in Jacksonville, Florida.  She will discuss such topics as: Overcoming Writers Block, Writing Readable Prose, Placing Pieces in Paying Markets and Increasing Productivity and Income.

 

April 12, 2008 -  Dorothy will be presenting at the Journey to EmPOWerment Festival at the Mandarin Ramada Inn in Jacksonville, Florida.  She will discuss how to write memories into good memoirs.

 

April 14, 2008  -  Dorothy has been invited to speak to select students at Fernandina Senior High School.  She will address what it is to be a Florida writer as well as what she knows of other Southern  Writers.
